Pallet delivery FAQs

Premium pallet delivery guarantees fast 24-hour shipping from the time of collection. Economy pallet delivery provides a cost-effective 2-to-3 working day shipping option for palletised freight where speed is less critical.

To track your shipment, enter your 11-digit consignment tracking ID into the Palletways tracking portal. Your live status updates as follows:

  • At collection depot: Freight collected by your local regional depot.
  • At hub: Arrived at our central hub for automated sorting.
  • At delivery depot: Received at the destination depot and queued for loading.
  • Out for delivery: Loaded onto a delivery vehicle, headed to the final destination.

Kerbside delivery means offloading your freight at the kerb or driveway closest to the delivery address. Drivers deliver to a flat, smooth surface at ground level and cannot legally enter private properties. Read our full guide to kerbside pallet delivery.

A pallet network is a group of independent transport companies that collect and deliver pallets within assigned postcode territories. Operating through a central hub-and-spoke distribution system, the network allows members to move freight across the UK and Europe efficiently. Learn more about how pallet networks work.

Our member depots are held to the highest standards, operating under strict operational, legal, and financial criteria to guarantee safety, compliance, and service excellence across our network.

Full Legal Compliance & Licensing Every depot must operate fully within UK regulatory frameworks, maintaining a valid Operator’s (“O”) License to legally manage commercial transport operations.

Advanced Fleet & Logistics Infrastructure Our network relies on robust transport capabilities, requiring member depots to maintain modern delivery fleets including 7.5 Ton and 18 Ton vehicles, alongside double-deck trailer and cab setups equipped for overnight operations.

Qualified & Certified Personnel Safety and operational efficiency are paramount. Depots are required to employ fully qualified HGV drivers for heavy transport alongside certified, forklift-licensed staff to handle goods safely on-site.

Dedicated Facilities & Equipment Each member operates out of fully equipped logistics space, complete with dedicated yard space and on-site office or shed units to support smooth, transparent operational management.
