What are the pallet size and weight limits?
We offer a range of pallet sizes:

Do you offer international pallet delivery?
Yes, we operate the largest palletised freight network in Europe, meaning we’re experts in international pallet delivery. We offer both economy and express cross-border services, including customs support where required.
What can I send via Palletways?
You can send most types of palletised goods, including retail stock, manufacturing components, and large consumer items. Goods must be safely packed and secured on a pallet without overhanging or exceeding the dimensions and weight limit for the pallet. For anything out of the ordinary, please contact us to confirm eligibility.
Do you offer time-definite delivery services?
Yes, we offer a range of timed services including pre-10:00, pre-noon, PM and next-day options, depending on the destination.
Can I get a quote online or speak to someone for pricing?
Yes, you can get an instant online quote if you’re sending a small number of pallets. If you have a large number of pallets or send multiple pallets regularly, speak directly with your local Palletways member for tailored pricing or contact us.
How much does it cost to send a pallet?
Prices vary based on size, weight, and destination. For a quick quote, use our online calculator or contact your local member.
What is the maximum number of pallets I can have in one consignment?
There’s no strict upper limit! Large consignments can be easily arranged. Speak to your local member for support with bulk shipments.
Can I send a consignment to EU when my customer does not have an EORI number (B2C)?
Yes, we can handle B2C shipments to the EU where the receiver doesn’t have an EORI number.
Can Palletways carry Limited Quantity Haz consignments?
Yes, we accept Limited Quantity hazardous goods on eligible routes. Please confirm in advance with your local member.
Do I need an account to use the Palletways service?
Yes, an account is required for regular business use. For one-off shipments, you can use Palletways Online without an account.
Are my goods insured against loss or damage?
Yes. All consignments are carried under the RHA Conditions of Carriage 2024, which include limited liability cover. Additional insurance can be arranged if you require cover for the full value of your goods.
What if my pallet is larger or heavier than the standard Palletways pallet dimensions/weights?
We have 7 pallet sizes to cover a wide range of shipments, including our XL pallet which has a base of 1.6m x 1.2m, max height of 2.2m and a max weight of 1,200kg.
You can obtain a quote from your local Palletways member for any non-standard pallet sizes.
Pallet delivery and tracking
How can I track my pallet?
Our customers benefit from full track-and-trace visibility via our online portal. Real-time updates, PODs (proof of delivery), and exception alerts are included as standard. Enter your 11-digit tracking ID here.
How can I speak to someone about my pallet delivery?
Please contact your local depot if you know they’re delivering your pallet, or use the contact form on our Contact page. Please ensure you provide your 11 digit tracking code to speed up the time it takes for us to locate your pallet information.
What happens if my delivery is delayed?
We strive to deliver on time, every time. If there’s an issue with your delivery, your local depot or account manager will proactively notify you. You can also track your pallet for updates.
What is the Palletways Portal?
The Portal is a cloud-based, all-in-one platform for managing freight. It’s used by our employees, network members and pallet recipients alike. All data around pallets movements are stored here. Our customer service team can quickly use your tracking ID to locate your pallet, review consignment notes and identify the collecting and delivering depots. Plus, ETAs are logged here along with Proof-of-Delivery images.
What kind of tracking notifications are offered for shippers and consignees?
We provide real-time tracking updates, including email or SMS notifications for key delivery milestones.
How do I access our OTIF information?
OTIF (On Time in Full) data is available through our customer portal or via your account manager on request.

How can I become a Palletways member depot?
If you’re a high-performing transport company looking to expand through our network, we’d love to hear from you. Visit our Join the Network page or contact us for more information.
How do I ship my products via Palletways?
Please contact us so we can refer you to your local Palletways depot who will be responsible for collecting your pallets and transporting them to our hub, ready for quick delivery to your customers.
How does Palletways enhance our brand experience?
If you’re a customer using our pallet network, we deliver your pallets within a two-hour time slot, following best practices around delivery. Our reliability, delivery options and enhanced tracking can boost your customer satisfaction, and many clients report Trustpilot scores around 97–98%.
If you’re a member of our pallet network, you’ll gain access to supportive departments who will help you win business and enhance your brand exposure. We run commercial workshops and annual regional meetings for our members to help share best practices and provide updates from the network.
Can Palletways help with branded livery for my fleet?
Yes. As a Palletways Network Member, you have access to official livery support to help align your vehicles with our network branding. We provide approved artwork files, brand guidelines, and specifications for rigid and articulated vehicles. Our marketing team can also advise on correct logo placement, colour usage, and partner with trusted livery suppliers if needed. Branded vehicles enhance your visibility within the network and promote the strength of the Palletways brand.
What is a Hub-and-Spoke Network?
The logistics model used by Palletways. Local depots (spokes) collect and deliver freight, which is consolidated at central hubs for onward distribution. This improves efficiency and reach.
What is Palletways Hubdrop?
Palletways Hubdrop is a direct injection service that sends your pallets straight to the nearest hub for last-mile delivery, bypassing extra handling. Benefits include improved sustainability, time savings, cost efficiencies, and end-to-end tracking with a two-hour delivery window.
What is P2C?
P2C (Palletways to Consumer) bundles our Premium (next-morning delivery) and Economy services to streamline shipping to home addresses. Corporate customers can enhance it with extras, and economy bookings include a Book-in service offering flexible delivery days and times for recipients.
