Palletways are currently seeking to recruit a Key Account Manager to join the UK Corporate Sales team based at Fradley.
Location – Office-based at Fradley, with regular travel to customer sites across UK
Salary – £40,000 pa (upwards dependent on experience), plus £10k pa car allowance, plus bonus
The Role
As a Key Account Manager, you will take ownership of a range of corporate accounts, ensuring we deliver outstanding service, commercial value and long-term partnership growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop relationships with key UK corporate customers
- Serve as a main escalation point for key customers, ensuring issues are managed quickly and effectively, coordinating internal teams to troubleshoot root causes and drive long-term service
- Coordination with depots and network teams to improve service levels
- Conduct regular customer reviews and site visits
- Collate, analyse and present KPI and performance data to customers
- Understand customer supply chains and growth plans
- Identify opportunities to increase volume, revenue and retention
- Support contract renewals, pricing reviews and commercial negotiations with operational insights
- Maintain clear documentation in processes and procedures to enhance customer experience
- Represent Palletways professionally across all customer interactions

Experience and Skills
- Experience in Key Account Management
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Strong data, reporting and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Commercial awareness with the ability to spot growth opportunities
Desirable
- Experience within pallet network, logistics or freight distribution and understanding of operation
- Experience working with corporate or national accounts
