Job Description – Warehouse Operative

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Operative to join our team at Our Fulfilment branch based at Fradley. The ideal candidate would have the ability to work under pressure, and to manageable timescales and deadlines. To work within, and in support of, the business goals and cultural values of the company. They will be expected to support all teams, departments and colleagues. The candidate will be responsible for completing the day-to-day warehouse activities and ensuring that all targets and deadlines are met, & all Health & Safety is adhered to. The role is varied and will involve manual handling tasks, Client case picking, restacking and wrapping pallets, Container offload & General Housekeeping duties.

Experience in a similar, varied role within a warehouse environment, would be desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided. A valid in date Counterbalance and/or Bendi/Pivot steer truck license would be advantageous however training courses can be arranged for the right candidate

Shift cover may be required during peak times and staff holidays, so flexibility is required.

Hours of work are 8hrs covering the warehouse opening times of 06.00 – 18.30 Monday to Friday. Available shift is 10.00 – 18.30, cover maybe needed on the early shift.

Shift will be set hours but cover may be needed at times for earlier or later during the operating hours.
