London-based logistics company, Ketra Logistics, made its largest, heaviest and most peculiar delivery in its history when it transported a life size dinosaur across London and all the way to Kent.

The delivery was made on behalf of the Natural History Museum who needed its gargantuan mascot Trevor the Triceratops transported to its Dino Store in Bluewater shopping centre in Kent.

The Dino Store, which was recently launched in the run up to Christmas features the best range of dinosaur gifts including own brand soft toys, models and games, all given the seal of approval by Museum palaeontologists.

Martyn Young, Managing Director at Ketra Logistics said: “When we got the call from the Natural History Museum to transport the five metres long, two metres tall and two metres wide Triceratops, we were a little surprised. This was a first for us but we never say no to a challenge!

“In order to make Trevor’s journey as comfortable as possible, we used a bespoke packaging material to ensure its safe transit and this truly demonstrates that we can pretty much deliver anything that fits in our lorries!”

Dusty Richmond, Back of House Operations Manager at the Natural History Museum added: “We just want to say a huge thank you to the team at Ketra Logistics who did a superb job in safely delivering our treasured mascot. We’re very excited about our Dino Store, which is now hosting lots of activities ahead of Christmas, so make sure that you keep an eye out and don’t forget to take a selfie with Trevor the Triceratops.”

Ketra Logistics is part of Palletways, Europe’s largest and fastest growing palletised freight network Palletways. It employs more than 40 people in London and its 30-strong fleet handles over 20 thousand pallets a year.
