Warehousing
Palletways offers pallet level fulfillment services through its Stargate Logistics division. Operating from a 11, 000 sq metre warehouse facility in Lichfield adjacent to the Palletways Hub, and 3,000 sq. our regional hub in Scotland, is designed to provide both manufacturers and retailers with a competitive edge through enabling enhanced service and distribution performance.
A full range of warehousing services are provided including:
- Strategic storage
- Container destuffing
- Pick and pack at case level
- Rework operations
All activity is controlled via the sophisticated Warehouse Management System (WMS) which enables customers remote access to view, and report on, stock levels in real time and which supports a full RF capability.
By storing product at Stargate Logistics' facility, which dovetails with the Palletways overnight national distribution and international networks for small consignments of palletised freight, manufacturers and retailers can for the first time place orders late into the evening for next day guaranteed delivery by 10am.
Full and Part Load Solutions
Palletways also provides a full and part load distribution capability within the UK & elsewhere in Europe utilising both Palletways Member and Third Party Logistics resources.
Parcels Services
Palletways has established links with a number of National and International parcel networks and has preferential trading terms with some of these.
