Palletways was founded in 1994 in the UK to respond to the growing demand for a specialised service capable of distributing consignments of palletised goods efficiently.

Our network now comprises over 300 depots across Europe, owned and operated by independent logistics companies. Together with our 10 hubs in 5 countries, we combine our resources to deliver goods faster and more cost effectively than ever.

James Wilson became CEO in 2004 and led a ‘buy in’ of the company with Phoenix Equity Partners. Through their confidence in Palletways’ model, they’ve lead and further developed the business.  Today Palletways is well placed to continue to outperform and continue to be a pioneer in the sector.
